Because of the SLEDs broadband optical emissions and low temporal coherence, EXALOS's SLEDs are especially advantageous in applications where interferences causes speckle or ghost images. Additionally, SLEDs are much more powerful than standard LEDs and therefore they are particularly advantageous for applications requiring high power density.
