EXALOS launched a special VISIIIBLES RGB website
EXALOS launched a special VISIIIBLES website with all information about the revolutionary light sources for Head-Mounted and Head-Up Displays.
High-Power 840-nm ASE Source Using an SLED-SOA MOPA Architecture (Conference Paper · July 2019)
We are demonstrating a high-power light source, where ASE from a SLED is amplified by a semiconductor optical amplifier in order to generate power levels of 100-300 mW in free-space. The optical architecture of this light source resembles a master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) configuration.
A compact RGB SLED module – a light source for AR displays (Conference Paper June 2019)
EXALOS VISIIIBLESRGB: EXALOS presents the first light source module that is realized with RGB SLEDs in a compact 14-pin butterfly housing for speckle-free display applications. The module provides a free-space output with collimated RGB beams that are colinearly aligned having 10 mW output power per color.
Quality Comparison of potential light sources for Holographic Projection
The test, published in Scientific Reports 7: 5893, compares the Coherence properties of the following 5 light sources and their effect on the image sharpness and speckle of holographic displays.
EXALOS provides also custom designed devices.
