OUR DEVELOPMENT
The visible laser diodes break new ground for low drive currents and minimal power consumption delivering a few milliwatts of optical power at a fraction of the drive current of commercially available lasers. EXALOS low-power blue and red laser diodes have threshold currents as low as 5 mA and operate below 10 mA, while the green variants start lasing near 15 mA and run between 20 mA and 30 mA.
